How to Clean and Maintain Your Samsung Jet Bot Combo

Regular maintenance and cleaning of your Samsung Jet Bot Combo and Clean Station ensure efficient operation and extend the lifespan of your device. Follow these detailed steps to clean key components such as the dust filter, sensors, brushes, and water tanks.

1. Cleaning the Fine Dust Filter

  1. Remove the dustbin from the Jet Bot Combo.
  2. Take out the fine dust filter from the dustbin.
  3. Tap the filter gently against a trash can to remove loose dust particles.
  4. Wipe the filter with a dry microfiber cloth to remove remaining dust.
  5. Reinsert the filter into the dustbin and reattach the dustbin to the Jet Bot Combo.

2. Cleaning the Washing Plate

  1. Detach the Washing Plate from the Clean Station.
  2. Rinse the plate under lukewarm water to remove dirt and debris.
  3. Use a soft brush to scrub any stubborn residue gently.
  4. Dry the plate thoroughly with a clean towel before reattaching it.

- Do not use detergent when cleaning the Washing Plate, as it may damage the material.

3. Cleaning the Bottom Cover of the Clean Station

  1. Ensure the Clean Water Tank and Waste Water Tank are disassembled.
  2. Place the Clean Station on its side to access the bottom cover.
  3. Detach the Extra Plate and Washing Plate if necessary.
  4. Wipe the bottom cover with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
  5. Dry the area thoroughly before reassembling.

4. Emptying the Waste Water Tank

  1. Unplug the Clean Station from the power source.
  2. Detach the Waste Water Tank from the Clean Station.
  3. Pour out the wastewater into a suitable container.
  4. Rinse the tank with clean water and dry it completely.
  5. Reattach the tank to the Clean Station.

- Do not use detergent on the Waste Water Tank, as it may leave residues that affect performance.

5. Replacing the Dust Bag

  1. Remove the dustbin from the Jet Bot Combo.
  2. Open the dustbin compartment and take out the used dust bag.
  3. Insert a new dust bag into the compartment, ensuring it fits securely.
  4. Reattach the dustbin to the Jet Bot Combo.

6. Descaling and Rinsing the Steamer

  1. Prepare a solution of citric acid and water according to the instructions.
  2. Fill the steamer with the solution and initiate the descaling process.
  3. Allow the process to complete without interruption.
  4. Rinse the steamer thoroughly with clean water after descaling.

- Descaling should be performed once per year using only citric acid and water. Do not use citric acid on other parts of the Jet Bot Combo or Clean Station.

7. Cleaning the Sensors

  1. Identify the sensors (LiDAR, 3D, Obstacle Detect, Carpet Detect, and Cliff Sensor).
  2. Gently wipe each sensor with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and debris.
  3. Ensure no moisture or residue remains on the sensors.

- Dirty sensors can cause navigation and cleaning issues. Regular cleaning ensures accurate detection and mapping.

8. Cleaning the Dustbin

  1. Remove the dustbin from the Jet Bot Combo.
  2. Empty the contents into a trash can.
  3. Rinse the dustbin with water and a mild detergent if needed.
  4. Dry the dustbin completely before reattaching it.

9. Cleaning the Brush and Brush Cover

  1. Detach the brush and brush cover from the Jet Bot Combo.
  2. Remove hair and debris from the brush using scissors or a comb.
  3. Wipe the brush cover with a damp cloth to remove dust.
