Because of its Ultra-WQHD resolution, the image clarity is excellent; all documents, spreadsheets and movies appear sharp and in great detail. The HDR10 feature gives wonderful colour reproduction and the brightness level is well balanced. It delivers vivid pictures with good contrast, even after long periods of work. What is most noticeable is the combination of a 100Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync™ technology; scrolling is smooth, gaming is responsive with only minimal screen tearing, and multitasking on the ultra-wide display is simple. Each movement on the screen is fluid and accurate. This monitor has likewise increased both my productivity and my enjoyment. Because of its big screen I am able to have several windows open at the same time without feeling cramped. The immersive display also makes films and games more engaging. The ViewFinity S50GC offers an excellent balance of clarity, brightness, responsiveness, and comfort and has surpassed my expectations, making it one of the best technological investments I've ever made; I would advise anyone who is looking for a premium ultra-wide monitor to go for it.

I had a matrix HDMI switch to easily switch between devices. When a power surge damaged them, I instead went for this 34" ultra wide. I love it! The higher resolution gives me more screen real estate than the two monitors I had before, and there's no seam in the middle! I don't need extra equipment to switch devices - the inputs automatically switch for me. The picture-in-picture is handy, and I can also put multiple inputs side by side just as I could with two monitors. The one large screen looks great on my desk, and the picture quality exceeds my expectations. I should've bought this monitor a long time ago!

Utilizo com um Galaxy Book4 Pro, e como a contagem de pixels é menor que a tela original do notebook, o desempenho é bom, inclusive com alguns jogos. A taxa de atualização é boa de 100hz, supre a maioria dos jogadores casuais. Para quem vem de uma tela OLED, as cores parecem mais opacas, mas isso sinceramente não me incomodou. É uma tela grande, ocupa muito espaço em uma mesa, mas dá para por na parede/suporte via VESA. O acabamento é semelhante à muitas TV's de entrada da marca, mas um ponto positivo, é o acabamento frontal da tela, que deixa o topo e as laterais com bordas muito pequenas. O pé que acompanha o produto, ocupa pouco espaço, o contrário do que imaginava. As funções do Windows para dividir a tela em 2 ou mais apliações é muito útil para trabalhar, funciona como 2 monitores, mas em formatos 4:3 ou no máximo 16:10. Pontos não tão positivos: - a iluminação (backlight), é baixa. Me parece menos de 300 nits. Portanto em salas com muita iluminação natural, irá incomodar. - o sensor de iluminação me parece não fazer muita diferença, mesmo ativo. - as funções de descanso de visão distorcem a imagem. No demais, é um bom monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is for my home office setup. I use it everyday and sit in front of this crispy screen at least 8 to 9 hours a day for work. I have it for over 15 months now. I hardly have any eye fatigue with this monitor. With the 34 wide screen ratio. I can get more space to fit my day to day applications without sacrificing the performance. I used to have a 27 inch monitor as my primary monitor and with this 34 inch wide screen, I get more done without having to choose what applications to display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a mixed review of this monitor. It took quite a bit of tweaking to get the color/contrast accurate. At first, I was about to return it, but I finally got it all set-up to accurate colors (I am a professional video/photographer) Accuracy is critical. Most people without experience will probably just plug it in and use it out-of-the-box. It was not good. But, now, after adjusting it, I got it to look excellent. And, for the discounted price you can find it online, I would call it a great deal.

I heard a few bad things and a few good things, I didn't really know what to think. It has a better picture quality than expected, and, it was a nice surprise that it came with HDMI and DisplayPort cables, I thought I was going to have to buy some. That's pretty sweet. I bought it for school and casual scrolling on the internet, I'm no gamer or anything so I don't need the extra high refresh 😅

Setting up thus monitor was super simple, and the menu button is also very simple and easy to navigate. The pi ture quality is amazing and works great for videos! I recently replaced two aging 19-inch monitors, which were getting difficult to match with the Samsung 34-inch monitor, which provides a lot of breathing room with much to spare. I do a lot of photo and graphics editing for print, and visual quality and resolution are especially important. Color balance is spot on out of the box, and though the monitor is factory set way too bright for photo editing, it was easy enough to back off the brightness and contrast to get it to the point where it matches photos on my 13x19-inch pro-printers. The 100 Hz refresh rate means no flickering (even noticeable at 75 Hz on the old monitors), and the finer resolution makes photo editing easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this monitor for just under a month now. I have been very happy with it. It helps a lot with these widescreen monitors to have Windows 11 for easier window sizing of various software. You can click the window and drag it to the top and then pick which size you want the window to be. I have tried 2 windows side by side. This is typically my gaming set up. I have also tried quadrant windows, so 4 windows total and that's not too bad either. The flatness isn't that much of an issue to me. The fact that it was much cheaper than the curved monitors that are similar in size was the selling point for me. I know curved monitors are all the rage right now, but this one works fine for me for what I do. I am typically playing FFXI (I know I'm old :D) 2 Windows side by side, and then of course normal web surfing etc. I also use SolidWorks with this computer and monitor and that has worked really well with the widescreen. The resolution on this one is 3440 x 1440. It's nice because not everything is ready for 4k and this is a slight upgrade from my 2k monitors that I had before. I would definitely recommend this monitor.

Firstly, I want to mention that purchasing the 34” Viewfinity S5 through samsung was both exciting and a breeze. This is because I was able to learn a lot about all the specs of this monitor and compare it to other models. Since it was my first time ever purchasing a monitor, I was delighted to receive the package prior to the estimated delivery date. Upon using the monitor, I am ecstatic to note that I am able to run multiple applications and use the split screen mode without any comprise from its WQHD resolution. Initially , I thought that having a 34” monitor might be too big for my small table; however, the screen sits right with my setup. In fact, I value the width of the screen as it gives me a lot of working space, especially when used for creatives. Furthermore, its response time of 100hz is able to maximize the speed of my architecture applications without delay. Moreover, I do want to mention that the design of the monitor itself is very sleek and gives a very professional look. In conclusion, I am very happy and satisfied with both the purchase process and the overall features, resolution, and design of the monitor.

Upon receiving the monitor, I was happy with the packaging. It was easy to set up, and I appreciated the plastic protective coating that covered the entirety of the screen. Monitor was already updated to the latest firmware and software version. I have it currently on default settings, which is nice And I’m sure with a little tinkering. I can get it even better to my liking. Definitely better than having two monitors.

Cons: Software is subpar, audio jack is terrible (as expected for most budget monitors), non-adjustable stand. Incompatibility with non-computer inputs (think an Xbox, would display black bars on sides) At the end of the day, if you're dipping your toes into 21:9 or 1440p, as I was (from a 24" 1080p panel), you'll notice a world of difference.

This monitor is theost amazingonitor I have ever purchased. I knew I was going to be extremely happy with it because I'm a huge Samsung fan. Wish I could have afforded this years ago. The picture quality is so vibrant and clear. It's almost as if you are not staring at a screen. I honestly don't know what else to say about it since I haven't used itixh for the purpose I originally purchased it for. The little I have used this for while gaming, you can't go wrong with this monitor. It's so realistic. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend

I liked this monitor so much that I ended up buy a second one just a month later. I've been using 3 24inch monitors for over a decade and this was a massive upgrade. PiP feature was a really nice surprise as well! A few months later and both monitor displays have died almost back to back. 4.5/5 if they didn't suddenly die, I've never had issues with my previous monitors over a 10 year span. Hoping the warranty can resolve this.

The curved screen does away with the need for 2 or 3 separate monitors and allows for just 1 monitor taking the same space and less wires. I would definitely get more of these monitors when needed.
